Steve Working

I come from three generations of family owned businesses in the North Lake Washington area. After school and on many weekends, I helped my father, Gordy, and my grandfather, Wendall, at Lake City Plumbing. My grandfather started Lake City Plumbing in 1948 and it was family owned until 2007. I worked several years at my Uncle Fred's company, Dowdy Construction on Mercer Island, his company is still serving the Leavenworth and Eastern Washington area.

For 5 years I worked in Monterey, California in the residential construction industry: Drywall Repair & Texturing, Light Framing, Electric Lights, Switches, & Fixture Swap-Outs, Tile Repair & Replacement

Returning to Seattle, I worked again for my uncle and then for my father as an apprentice plumber, and in 1995, earned my Plumber Journeyman License.

In 2005, with my Construction Contractor License, and following my family's tradition, I started my own business, Custom Waterworks Ltd., providing plumbing for residential and light commercial settings

I have more than twenty years active construction and plumbing work experience. I have the skills needed to assess, plan, and execute cost-effective, quality projects.

I provide start-to-finish, hands-on service for small and medium residential remodels, service, and repair. I have established my reputation by being thoughtful, considerate, and thorough with excellent customer service. Plumbing is my preferred specialty.
